Art, Food & Wine Tour is an experience which involves all your senses.

The tasting and cultural tour lasts  3, 4 or 5 hrs. Minimum 3 tastings.

Min. 2 persons, max 8 persons. Only private.

Explore Verona and its local culinary tradition! Visit the city enjoying its history together with the pursuit of  local food! It’s a good reason to discover the veronese territory! Good food is an indication of civilization as well as a work of art can be.

What is an osteria

We’ll start the experience from Piazza Bra near the Arena and continue towards one the veronese “osteria” for the first glass of wine and the first tasting.  An osteria used to be a meeting place for merchants, carters and boatmen. It was here that a traditional and genuine cuisine was created. Today many of these inns have disappeared, other have been turned into restaurants.

A bit of history

It’s in the inns that you can still find the veronese daily life. We proceede through ancient Verona, a city rich in history, art and the city of love par excellence. Our tour will cover the house of Juliet too, and we’ll taste the “kisses of Romeo & Juliet”, the pastries created after the love tragedy.

The botteghe

We’ll visit some “botteghe” with their high quality products, where the local people used to do their shopping and still do it today!

The “art, food & wine tour”  is held by expert guides with over 20 years experience in this field. You’ll be introduced to italian life style and you’ll be told about the local history and traditions.

Local products of Verona

On the way we’ll visit one of the local markets and make stops to try the different kind of veronese cheese, different kind of delicious ravioli, Custoza, Soave white wines, Valpolicella red wines, delicatessen, extra virgin olive oil from Garda Lake. This guided and tasting tour ends with a glorious glass of Amarone Valpolicella and will leave you an unforgettable memory…
